Languages: Spanish and English
He studied at the Autonomous University of Madrid and specialised in medical oncology at La
Fe University Hospital in Valencia. He undertook internships at excellent oncology centres,
such as Royal Marsden Hospital (London, 2005) and Langone Cancer Center (New York, 2008).
He worked for three years (2014-2017) at doctor Carlos Arteaga's translational research
laboratory (Vanderbilt University, USA), where he trained to use next generation sequencing
techniques and researched resistance to targeted therapies. He is a member of the American
Association for Cancer Research (AACR) and the Spanish breast cancer research group
(GEICAM) and is part of the translational research committee.
