Breast cancer screening
Breast cancer screening is immediate and effective programme and was created so that women can access it directly and voluntarily if they feel concerned about breast cancer symptoms.
Results are given immediately or within 48 hours.

Breast cancer symptoms include:
- Lumps in the breast
- Changes to skin texture or breast shape, especially sunken areas
- Inverted nipple or skin
- Swollen underarm glands
Early diagnosis improves functional and vital prognosis of patients that are diagnosed cancer. Detecting cancer in its earlier stages has clearly shown improved survival.
Our team have implemented a Breast Cancer Screening unit to help early diagnosis among the general public.
Our team have implemented a Breast Cancer Screening unit to help early diagnosis among the general public. Speed and effective diagnosis are key factors for this unit. Oncologists with a wealth of experience in breast cancer screening and early diagnosis will assess your risk of breast cancer. They will examine your mammary glands and lymphatic areas, checking for suspicious nodes, and evaluate the mammograms and the breast ultrasounds requested in the consultation. Once your risk has been assessed and the imaging tests carefully checked, our oncologists will provide a diagnosis and recommendations in accordance with the results obtained immediately after the consultation or within 48 hours.
For us, effective diagnosis goes hand in hand with speed because we are aware of the important role that time plays in these processes.

Su actividad clínica e investigadora está centrada especialmente en el cáncer de mama y tumores ginecológicos. En la actualidad trabaja como Médico Adjunto en el Instituto Valenciano de Oncología en el área de mama. Ha trabajado también como médico adjunto en el Área Clínica de Oncología Ginecológica del Instituto Valenciano de Oncología y en el área de tumores digestivos.
Es licenciado en medicina y cirugía en La Universidad de Valencia en el año 2004. Su formación MIR en oncología médica la desarrolló en el Instituto Valenciano de Oncología, obteniendo dicho titulo en el año 2011.
Ha sido galardonado con la BECA de la Fundación Dexeus y la BECA JB Vermorken para el estudio del cáncer de ovario.
Trabaja habitualmente con varios grupos cooperativos de investigación (grupos GEICAM, SOLTI…) siendo investigador principal de diversos protocolos de investigación. Es miembro de la Sociedad Española de Oncología (SEOM) y de los grupos de investigación de cáncer de mama (GEICAM y SOLTI).
